We build a small print shop inside your venue, and each guest walks up, chooses a design and a size, and leaves wearing it about two minutes later. For Tampa the gear crosses the country as freight from our Fullerton shop, and the crew flies in the day before load-in to build it.
Five stages of a Tampa job
- The brief. You send a date, a room and a headcount. We reply within 24 hours with an itemized quote, and travel is listed as its own line on it.
- Art and blanks. Your logo gets separated for screens or printed onto DTF film. We need final art about a week before the event, and the XS through 4XL blank order is placed at the same time.
- Freight. Tampa is 2,131 straight-line miles from the shop, so presses, heat presses and road cases ship ahead. At Tampa Convention Center they arrive on a dock time and a drayage slot. A loft in Ybor City usually needs just a door, a lift and someone to unlock it.
- Build and test. The crew lands a day early, builds the station in roughly a 10×10 space and pulls test prints before doors open.
- Print and strike. We print through your run-of-show and break down when you close.
Those five stages are the same for a riverfront reception near the Straz Center, a party at Armature Works or a lot outside Raymond James Stadium. Weather is what changes. From June through September an afternoon storm on the bay is close to a daily event, so an outdoor station gets a tent with weighted legs or an indoor room to retreat to. If your date moves, tell us two weeks ahead so the freight can be rebooked. Tell us about your event and we'll map the setup.
