Ybor City is Tampa's old cigar district, a few minutes east of downtown. Its brick buildings, courtyards and upstairs halls host private parties, company dinners, block parties and late nights along the main strip.
Older buildings shape the setup. Doors are often narrower, freight elevators are less common, and a courtyard might have a single outlet. We usually bring a compact station, confirm the circuits in advance and plan the load-in around the stairs.
What Ybor City events tend to book
- Live screen printing: one design for a block party or a crowd that all wants the same shirt.
- Live DTF: names and full-color art for a private party or a company dinner.
- Live hat bar: caps for a courtyard event on a warm evening.
- Promo & hard goods: totes and drinkware as favors.
Courtyards and patios are outdoor sites, so from June through September we plan for the afternoon storms with a covered spot or an indoor room nearby.
The station still needs about 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits. In an older hall, that second circuit is the thing to confirm first.
